Veronica Velayo is a fashion designer based in the Philippines who graduated from Lasalle College International. While still studying in Lasalle College International, she would make accessories and sell them to her friends to pay for materials for her school projects. After graduating last 2003, she worked as a designer at a locally based clothing company. Six months later, she decided to start NYX, her own accessories line, and started supplying for local and international stores.
She was inspired to start her own bridal line after designing her sister's wedding gown. Her brand, Veronica Velayo, now offers a wide selection of accessories and ready-to-wear clothing, as well as, made-to-order cocktail
dresses, and of course, bridal gowns.
Her style is varied, but two things remain constant -- all her designs exude a sense of simplicity and elegance. Veronica also prides herself on her attention to detail and personalized service.

After four years of designing wedding gowns, she decided to put up a bridal shop in Alabang.
